Helpful Hint #1 - Purchase Cards Introduced at Toys for Tots

You asked for a more efficient method of purchasing and we found it! Each coordinator will be supplied with a PURCHASING CARD this year. These cards will make your purchasing experience quicker and easier

• Use with any vendor that accepts a credit card
• Use to purchase toys
• Use to purchase incidentals
• No more waiting for a check from the Foundation
• No more late payments

All purchases should be made with your NEW PURCHASING CARD. This new method of purchasing is more effective and efficient for both the Coordinator and the account Specialist at the Foundation. As in the past, each coordinator will need to submit all receipts and the Verification Request form to the Foundation upon completing a purchase. We have even made this task easier for you with our new pre-addressed prepaid envelopes. Once a purchase has been made please Fax, mail (using the envelopes provided) or e-mail the verification request form along with any receipts to your Accounting Specialist as soon as possible. Your Accounting Specialist will be able to view your Purchasing Card purchases on line daily and verify it with your submittal of the Verification Request forms and receipts.

PLEASE READ CHAPTER 7 OF YOUR SOP AND REVIEW THE INFORMATION IN YOUR PURCHASING FOLDER FOR MORE DETAILS ON THIS NEW PURCHASING CARD PROGRAM.
